Just a note - My shipping policy is to guarantee that DVD drives will be shipped within
48 hours unless otherwise noted. Straightforward PSP repairs usually ship back out
the day after they're received, especially when payment is included with the PSP. Most
everything goes out via USPS priority mail and I'm in the lucky position of having a
24/7 airport post office nearby. Mail shipments go out every day, not just M-F.
Oklahoma City Local Repairs
All repairs are done by appointment only so please call or preferably email first to set
up a time.
All work is 100% guaranteed same as if you ordered through the website.
Sony PSP mail-in repairs
All repairs/replacements are warranteed for 6 months. That means that it will work
perfectly when you get it back and continue to do so for 6 months. The only exceptions
are if the LCD screen gets smashed again or if the analog stick is broken off.
Sometimes it's hard to figure out just what's wrong and a person can mis-diagnose the
problem. If you send one in for a certain type of repair and I find something else wrong
with it I'll email you and let you know what I found. If there's an additional charge and
you've already mailed a check you can mail another one or pay the difference online. If
the repair is cheaper than expected I'll refund the difference as best fits the
circumstances. Lastly, if you just flat change your mind I can always send it back to
you for cost, $8.10 to anywhere in the US, I don't charge for my time unless I fix it.
Diagnosis is always free and if I can't fix the PSP there is no charge.
Postal insurance is extra. It costs $3.35 to insure the package for $200 for the return
trip. If you want insurance just let me know and tack the $3.35 on the quoted price.
Multiple problems are discounted. If there's more than one thing wrong with your PSP
please email for a quote or send it in and I'll quote you when it arrives. For instance, a
broken LCD screen and a broken power switch will cost less than $69+$59 to fix. I
can't really give a blanket quote for these as there's too many variations on things that
can go wrong but in the above instance it would most likely be $99 instead of $128.
Sometimes I have imperfect parts available for a discounted price. If you have a PSP
that needs to be fixed and limited funds feel free to email and ask if I have a "floor
model" version of the relevant part.
Items mailed in for repair and left unpaid will be considered abandoned property after
30 days.
