____Shipping Instructions____
(1) Fill out the request form to the left and click submit down at the bottom. No need to print it out unless you'd like to keep a copy for your records.
(2) Unless otherwise noted all I need is the PSP itself. No charger, battery, game, or memory card is required. Any extra items will be returned to you along with the console though so don't worry if someone forgot to take their game out.
(3) Package the PSP up well. Any halfway sturdy box will do, just allow room for at least two inches of padding all around the console and make sure there's plenty of 'stuffing' so the PSP won't bang around inside the box during transit. Bubble wrap is a great packaging material if you happen have some handy but wadded up newspaper works just fine too. Also, if you want to use the original box the PSP came in, or any other special case or packaging, you're welcome to do so and it will all be returned to you along with the console.
(4) Make sure your name and address is written somewhere on the box and feel free to write me a note with any extra information or requests you may have. If you're mailing a check too please make it out to "PSP Repair Service".
(5) Mail it to:-
PSP Repair Service 2529 SW 25th Oklahoma City OK 73108
You can use any service that you like, post office, Fedex, UPS or whoever you prefer. I'll email you the moment it arrives so you'll know that the package got here safely and the console will be fixed and headed home in no time.
Just so you know, my phone number is (405) 635-9061 and you're welcome to call and check on things any time you like.

_PSP Analog stick replacement - Service Request_
|
The analog stick, or joystick, is the small round knob that's used to control the movement of game characters in just
about every video game ever made. This means that not only is it used constantly but also rather vigorously and
therefore it's usually the first part to give out on a PSP. Most often the analog stick stem itself will snap off but
sometimes the damage is internal giving a very definite grinding feeling to the stick and/or strange character
movements when a game is played.
The good news here is that they're extremely easy to replace when you have the right tools and instructions on how to
go about getting the job done right. The do-it-yourself kits advertised above provide both of these items as well as a
brand new top quality analog stick assembly with an original PSP size thumbpad. Armed with these items pretty much
anyone that can read is assured a successful no-hassle repair . Step-by-step instructions and the proper tools make it a
pretty much foolproof endeavour even if you can't tell the back of a PSP from the front. It takes about 20 minutes from
start to finish and I've had thousands of happy customers experiencing no install problems whatsoever so I'm confident
in saying there's nothing to fear. If it's obvious the analog stick is causing a problem in your PSP replacing the entire
assembly is the answer no matter how broken the assembly is or how it got that way. If the outer thumbpad is missing
or broken a new original PSP size thumbpad is included. This in itself is helpful as the after-market oversized
thumbpads a lot of people have considerably shortens the lifespan of the entire assembly.
If you like the idea of fixing it yourself just click the appropriate button above and you can have your PSP back to
working good as new in just a few days. Taking this route saves the postage mailing your PSP off to someone, the time
waiting to get it back and the cost of somebody else's labor. The first thing to do though is make sure to order the right
kit. The analog assembly for an older 1001 model PSP is entirely different than one for a newer 2001 or 3001 model
so if you're not sure what you have get the model number off of the barcode label on your PSP before ordering. It'll say
PSP-1001, PSP-2001 or PSP-3001, along with a string of numbers. Unfortunately replacing the analog stick in a 3001
model is a lot more complicated than a 1001 or 2001 so I currently handle those repairs myself but chances are your
PSP is one of the two main models that are covered.
That said, if you've determined that a new analog stick assembly is needed but you'd rather I do the job instead the
charge is $59 which includes the exact same new part, labor, and return Priority Mail shipping. Your PSP will also get
the once-over to make sure nothing else is wrong and a good clean-up to boot. Once it arrives here you should have it
back good as new in about a week and as this is a very straightforward repair you can help hurry things along by
paying up front. If there's any question as to what's needed then hold off on sending payment until I have a chance to
check it out, otherwise mailing a check or money order for the $59 along with the PSP is a pretty safe bet. In any case,
you can always pay later with a debit/credit card and it comes through instantly so it doesn't take that much longer
anyway. If it turns out that something unexpected crops up I'll let you know and you can decide at that point whether to
continue with the repair or not. Diagnosis is free so even if you just change your mind for no reason there's no charge
for my time unless I actually fix it.
