The pictures above give a good indication of what a broken LCD screen looks like in a Sony PSP. While it may look
like the precious device is a goner this is really not a big deal to fix, and fortunately for us all Sony actually made a
pretty sturdy product here. Even when the LCD screen has been completely shattered there's rarely any additional
damage and therefore no reason to expect any extra costs on the road to having your console working like new again.
Sony doesn't cover this type of damage under warranty of course but the good news is that you don't have to rely on
them to fix it. If your PSP is in need of a new screen and some TLC I'll be happy to take care of it for you. The total
charge is $69 for an original 1000 series or "fat" PSP or $89 for the newer 2000 series PSP Slim/Lites. Both prices
include the new screen, labor, return shipping via USPS priority mail, a very thorough check-up just in case
something else has gone awry, and a professional spring-cleaning to boot . Once your PSP arrives here you can
expect to have it back good as new in about 7-8 days. Also, seeing as this is a very common and straightforward
repair, you can help speed things up a bit by sending a check or money order for the repair cost along with the
broken console. If you'd rather wait until the job's done and I confirm all's well that's fine too. You can mail payment
at that point or you can pay instantly online via credit card, debit card, or Paypal.
To initiate a repair request all you need to do is fill out the form below and click submit. This will let me know your
PSP is coming, your contact details, and any special instructions you may have. I'll email you to confirm the request
and again once the PSP arrives so you'll know it got here safely and when to expect it back home. Shipping
instructions are shown in the highlighted box to the right and you're welcome to call or email at any time if you have
any questions or just want to check in and see how things are going with your repair.
No credit card info or specific payment details are required at this point, all I need to get started is your contact
information and the broken PSP itself. In the unlikely event that something other than a new LCD screen is needed to
fix your console I'll email you with a firm quote and you can decide what to do from there. As always, diagnosis is
free, and if you choose not to have it repaired after all you'd only owe me $8.10 for return postage.
Thanks, Lynn

Shipping instructions
(1) Fill out the request form to the left and click submit.
(2) Package the PSP well. Any sturdy box will do and allow room for about two inches of padding all around the console. Bubble wrap is a great packaging material but wadded up newspaper works fine too. Just make sure the PSP isn't going to bang around inside the box during transit. Money wise the main thing is to have it all packed up and ready to go when you go to mail it. The post office and ready-made parcel services charge a lot of money to use their materials.
(3) You don't have to send the battery or any cables unless you want me to test them out too. If you're experiencing disc read errors or other UMD drive problems please also send at least one game that isn't loading properly so I can make sure the repair is successful.
(4) No printed copy of the submission form is needed. Just make sure your name and address are somewhere on or in the box so I know who it belongs to and I can refer back to the form online.
(5) Mail it to:
PSP Repair Service 2529 SW 25th Oklahoma City OK 73108
You can use any service that you like, post office, Fedex, UPS or whoever you prefer as they all come by every day anyway. I'll email you as soon as the package arrives so you'll know that it got here safely.
Postal insurance is not included in quoted prices. If you would like me to insure the PSP for the return trip I can do so at cost. Please include an extra $2.70 for $200 worth of postal insurance and put a note in with the PSP requesting insurance.
Just so you know, my phone number is (405) 635-9061 and you're welcome to call and check on things any time you like.
